Despite losses, Apple plans to launch three new phones from iPhone

Apple plans to launch three models of an iPhone phone this fall, including a weak-demand XR, with a liquid crystal display LCD, at prices lower than 2018.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday that Apple plans to offer some new camera features in the phones expected to be released, including a three-way back camera and a dual rear camera for two models.

Still, Apple is sticking to LCD screens as it struggles to slow down sales of the iPhone XR, which has cut its latest revenue.

Its adherence to this technology, which seems to have been untouched, is due to the fact that LCD monitors have been on the production line for months and can not be easily changed.

But Apple, which trimmed its quarterly sales forecast last week, cut its planned production of new tires by about 10 percent for the three months between January and March.

The slashing of the rare expectations was a sign of weak demand for iPhone in China, the world's largest smartphone market, where the slowing economy is affected by the trade war with the United States.

Many analysts and consumers say the price of the new iPhone is overpriced.

Canales, a market research firm, estimates shipments to China fell 12 percent last year and expects shipments of smartphones in 2019 to fall another three percent to less than 400 million phones for the first time since 2014.
