South Africa: A tree bleeds when cut

This tree is known as the "blood tree", a type of Angolan sandal, grows in South Africa, and holds yellow flowers, and may be up to 18 meters long.
According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, when the trunk of the tree is cut off, a blood-red liquid emerges from it, which is considered by the people of the region as a natural and alternative treatment for malaria and stomach problems.
