The resignation of two senior Facebook officials after the biggest technical failure in its history
Facebook has announced its chief product manager, Chris Cox, and the head of WattsApp, Chris Daniels. The company did not announce the reasons for their departure.
He first began his work at Facebook, in 2005, while the latter took over a year ago.
Cox, a close associate of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, began his career as a software engineer and then held several leadership positions, including HR. The company has not yet announced who will succeed Cox after leaving the company.
These changes came shortly after Zuckerberg announced a plan to structure the company.
A few days ago, the company faced the worst technical malfunction in its history, which lasted 14 hours, on Facebook, Windows and Entourage platforms, citing a server failure.
On Wednesday evening, Facebook issued a statement denying it had been hacked, as some claimed, saying it was working to remove the bugs.
The company apologized to the customers and users of the site, about the sudden holidays that occurred on the site, and its applications.
"We realize that some people are currently having a problem getting access to the application," Facebook said through its account on the blog site TUTER.
The statement said the company is working to solve the problem and remove the problem as soon as possible.
